Playing Career:
- Former professional and collegiate pitcher.
- Played for the Miami Marlins (minors) and Rice Owls.
- Part of several successful teams:
- 2005 5A TX State Champion Kingwood Mustangs.
- 2007 and 2008 College World Series Rice Owls.
- 2011 South Atlantic League Champions Single-A Marlins.
- Earned all-state and all-conference honors under Coach David Denny and Coach Wayne Graham.
- Drafted by the Brewers in 2009 and the Marlins in 2010.
Mike Ojala’s impressive baseball career and commitment to excellence continue to inspire players and fans alike. He lives in Bridgeland, TX with his wife and four children.
